Snakester95 writes: The graphics have a nice cartoon look almost. They come out decently without a doubt. The sound is nice, occasionally listening to sound affects. Whether it be sounds in a puzzle or music here and there. The role playing exists in multiple areas. Some people stick to themselves and will get very into role playing. While others will say small greetings like, "Ahoy!" "Yar!" "Ye" and so on. Players try to give a bit of a pirate communication to the game making things interesting. The game is fun, but paying to play can be an issue. They give you two different types of serves though, one in which you can subscribe to play and get all the privileges of the game. Or you can play on the Dubloon Oceans. The Dubloon oceans gives a micro currency to the game called Dubloons, hence the title. These can then be used to buy certain privileges throughout the game so you don't have to pay for things you won't use. Allowing you to play free and buy only the extras you want. You can play through the game and earn the micro currency through the free currency you can earn. Or you can buy dubloons with real money. Depending on what you do on the Dubloon server will depend on if you're able to succeed. The player economy is set up very well and you may not even need dubloons. Throughout the game, you may have puzzle duals, do your duty on a ship to keep things going smoothly, own a stall and sell what you choose, or take on an island with your Crew and it's Flag. There are multiple things in the game to keep you occupied for a few months at least. The community is nice in most areas but players who have been around longer will have yellow names and new players who haven't played for a few days have a green name above them. This separates the community and makes older players look down upon green ones. Causing players to call you a noob and such or be less friendly to you unfortunately. Otherwise, the community can be very nice and occasionally helpful. Like any game, it can also depend on where you are and if it's the wrong timing or not. The performance of the game is very nice and occasionally they will have maintenance so it'll be down for a couple hours. Or they will do a reboot taking a few minutes to maybe update. The lag I haven't had many encounters with. Occasionally there are issues if you play for a long period, your puzzle may freeze which is a common issue to players when they play for hours on end. The customer service isn't too bad, you can submit a ticket which a GM will then reply to within the hour. Or you can go onto the forum and find support for multiple issues more in detail and to a bigger group of people willing to help. I didn't use the forum much in my experience, so I couldn't say how well it is. Fri Sep 10 2010 4:06AM

TheKizer writes: this game is fun and anooying all at the same time the levels once earned vanish just as quickly but the comunity is on a whole othere level compared to any other online games i have played, the game is totaly free except if you want bonuses like any othere game. this is a game for people who want to spend 10 mins a day up to 10 hours, this is also a game aimed at the talkative logical type Fri May 29 2009 5:20PM
