WoW- A New Trading Card Game! - World of Warcraft -

Lots of things happening this past weekend over at World of Warcraft. First on the list is the announcement of a partnership between Blizzard and Upper Deck that will bring us a new World of Warcraft based trading card game. The game, which is slated for rellease in the Spring of 2006, will likely prove popular with two such recognizable names behind it. The game is being hyped as one where "players will be able to build their decks and attend events that let them challenge Onyxia, or raid Molten Core in an attempt to defeat Ragnaros with the hopes of getting powerful Epic cards." -World of Warcraft Official Site.

Blizzard has also announced the closing of the Realm to Realm transfers as of August 22nd.

Character transfers from all remaining eligible realms (see full list below) will close on Monday, August 22, 2005, at approximately 3:00PM PDT. If you are interested in moving your character(s) from one of the realms listed below to the designated receiving realm, please do so before Monday. We do not currently have plans to reopen transfers from these realms.
