The Midsummer Fyre Fire Festival is live now in World of Warcraft, and will run through July 5.
The festival will take place in major Horde and Alliance cities, and will feature the Burning Blossom currency. Various activities, achievements, holiday items will be featured. Activities include a seasonal boss, Ahune. Defeating Ahune will net you a Satchel of Chilled Goods for a daily reward. This is meant for level 20 players and above.
Daily quests are also on offer and will net you experience, gold, and Burning Blossoms. You use Burning Blossoms to pourchase holiday items. These holiday items are in the form of pets and summer wear and toys. Pets include Igneous Flameling, Frigid Frostling, Ice Lord Ahune, Spirit of Summer, and Blazing Cindercrawler.
