While many players are currently romping through Classic's version of Azeroth, players still ticking away in the recent update of World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth should see an uptick in the damage Mages deal in the coming week.
As part of the upcoming hotfix this week, Blizzard is increasing the damage of all Arcane Mage abilities by 8%. This is after an update increased the damage of Arcane Mages back in July by 6% already. So obviously Blizzard isn't happy with the performance of Arcane Mages in Battle for Azeroth as it currently stands.
You can keep an eye on the hotfix thread for full details when the maintenance hits tomorrow. Meanwhile, the previous hotfix brought with it changes to Demon Hunters, fixed a few quests and allowed players to actually use the Conch of Wa'mundi correctly.
