In a post over on the World of Warcraft forums, Blizzard has announced that they are going to enable addons for the latest build of the Shadowlands Beta. Beta testers that are currently playing will need to update their client before they are able to test the aforementioned addons.

The post from the community manager on the forums was short and sweet:

With the latest build of the Shadowlands Beta, addons are now enabled for use.

Beta testers who have been in-game will need to exit the game and update their client to the latest version (build 35213) in order to test addons.

There are quite a few addons for World of Warcraft, many of which enhance the game in positive ways for thousands of players. Here is a listing of some addons we recommended after World of Warcraft: Legion released. In addition to the use of addons, we have been following the development of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands closely, including the recent changes made to class abilities. World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is still poised to release sometime in 2020, so get ready!
