During today's World of Warcraft What's Next Panel at BlizzCon 2018, the team announced a number of new features coming in 8.1.5 and 8.2/8.2.5. Among them are some long-requested features.
- Patch 8.1 "Tides of Vengeance" will be released on December 11th
- two new zones - Mechagon, the ancient home of Gnomes and Nazjatar, the realm of Queen Azshara
- a new raid
- an 8-boss megadungeon
- retooled battlegrounds - Arathi Basin and Warsong Gulch
- new heritage armors for Gnomes and Tauren
- new models for Goblins and Worgen
- battleground brawl against AI
- new islands for expeditions
Also revealed are the classes for Kul Tiran Humans and for Zandalari Trolls:
- Kul Tirans - Druid, Hunter, Mage, Monk, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warrior
- Zandalari - Druid, Hunter, Mage, Monk, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, Warrior
