Speed running is quite a thing these days in games, but it's not often that we see MMOs treated to speed running shenanigans. Over the weekend, "Shiekrunner" took a level 101 Demon Hunter in World of Warcraft with every possible run speed increase, including a massive Mastery stat (which in DHs increases movement speed), through over a dozen dungeons from Classic to Warlords of Draenor.
Older dungeons are not tuned for the movement speeds that a Demon Hunter can put together so there are a number of times in the video that the character blasts through textures to get to the end of the dungeon in unbelieveable times. Add in the use of the Vrykul Drinking Horn (that increases a character's size), great timing and tight spaces and there are opportunities to cause exploits throughout the dungeon runs.
What, if anything, will happen to Shiekrunner remains to be seen, but it's a pretty impressive display of unadulterated speed.
