More Diablo 3 in WoW? - Datamining Reveals 'Riftstones'

It appears that more Diablo 3-like content is coming to World of Warcraft in v7.3. Dataminers over at IcyVeins.com have uncovered both the "Depleted Riftstone" and the "Charged Riftstone", the latter of which "allows entry into Lesser Rifts and Greater Rifts". Diablo 3 players will be intimately familiar with the term as the content sending players (solo or in groups) into randomly generated locations with tiered difficulty.

A look at the recent highlights for v7.3, now currently on the public test realm, reveals this: "Invasion Points, a new type of replayable content that lets you fight the Legion on multiple different worlds".

It is likely that, these riftstones will function similar to the current mythic keystones that players use to run timed dungeons on scaling difficulties, though these will seemingly be for solo players. If a player does not finish the "rift" in time, the riftstone would become depleted.

Players on the current live version of WoW may be getting a slight forward look into the system with the timed solo Chromie scenario.
