Mark Kern is at it again and has posted a new petition to bring "vanilla" or "legacy" servers to World of Warcraft. His aim, according to the most recent petition, is to get Blizzcon attendees to sign an "Ask about Legacy" pledge if enough signers are achieved.
Blizzard has already indicated that no announcement or potential discussion about legacy / vanilla servers will happen during Blizzcon 2016 as they are vested in discussing the game as it is currently and where Legion is going next.
Kern posted a Change.org petition earlier this year to assess interest in vanilla servers. It garnered nearly 275k signatures and was later presented to Blizzard after Kern printed out all of the signatures. In the summer, Blizzard invited Nostalrius members to visit the campus to discuss the issue, though no firm commitment one way or the other was announced.
