Legendary Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is coming to World of Tanks. Along with him, he brings eleven new Italian vehicles into the game, including a "never-before-seen autoreloader mechanic" into the game. The Italian line will feature a series of lightly armored vehicles, higher damage mid-tier vehicles and Tier VIII+ post-WWII designs that include the autoreloader mechanic.
"Surviving in the world of the brave isn't easy. There’re always new challenges ready to knock you down, but your teammates are here to back you up. And having a few tanks at your command makes life a little easier," Gianluigi Buffon says. "If you think you're up for it, then join me in World of Tanks!"
The renowned goalkeeper was reimagined as a tank commander as part of our partnership. He honored World of Tanks by becoming the ambassador of Italian tank line and granting his image and voiceover to the Italian Crew.
Players will also be able to recruit Buffon to captain the Italian tanks.
