The latest World of Tanks patch will launch on Thursday. Called "New Frontiers", the v9.0 update brings a new game mode, enhanced graphics in all battle arenas, new graphics for tanks and in-game objects as well as new hi-def models for ten popular tanks.
Long thought to only be a prototype, blueprint tank, Wargaming and the Kubinka Tank Museum are partnering to recreate the legendary Panzerkampfwagen VIII "Maus". Wargaming announced this weekend that it is prepared to invest $10M dollars to develop the eSports side of its games, most notably World of Tanks. This is an additional $2M over last year's $8M investment into the eSports side of the gaming company.
Wargaming has announced that the World Grand Finals for World of Tanks has kicked off in Warsaw, Poland. The event will feature fourteen teams going head-to-head in an effort to take the world title and a portion of the prize purse.
