Wargaming has announced World of Tanks Classic event in celebration of the game's eighth anniversary. The Classic server / event will begin with a on March 29th at midnight Pacific / 3:00 am Eastern and that will run through April 3rd. WoT: Classic will sport a separate client and server from the main game and will feature three "classical nations": USSR, Germany and the USA. The Type 59 will be showcased and "you won't find any French or Swedish autoloaders here".

When MMA fighter Aaron Pico enters the ring this weekend, he will be doing so with the fans of World of Tanks Blitz, Wargaming's mobile game based on the WoT franchise. He will be wearing specially branded shorts "featuring the iconic Blitz shield". According to Pico, the partnership is fitting since "[his] great grandpa was a tanker" and that, after playing the game, he's 'hooked'.
