Chinese Tanks Deployed in the EU and SE Asia

Wargaming.net has announced that the latest updated to World of Tanks has been released. The most notable feature of the patch is the arrival of the Chinese tank line. The update will be released in North American on January 17th and in Korea on January 21st.

Next Update to Feature British Tanks

Wargaming.net has announced that the next World of Tanks update, v8.1, will include both light and medium tanks from the British line used in WWII. Update 8.1 will also introduce an overhauled rendering and lighting system on five more battle arenas.

Wargaming.net has announced that World of Tanks player registrations have crossed the 40 million mark and that over 500,000 concurrent users were recently logged into the Russian WoT server. Wargaming.net expects the numbers to continue to grow with the recent release of the v8.0 update.


Update 8.0 Live in NA Today, EU Tomorrow

Wargaming.net has announced that the World of Tanks update v8.0 will go live on North American servers today and on European servers on September 27th. The update brings the overhauled physics engine into the game which, according to the dev team, gives the tanks more realistic behavior.


Browser TCG - RTS Game Incoming

For those who simply can't get enough of World of Tanks, Wargaming.net has announced a new browser-based RTS-TCG combination game called 'World of Tanks: Generals'. Players will be able to play WoT: Generals either in single- or multiplayer modes.
