The folks over at Wish Stratics recently had the opportunity to attend a brief chat with the developers of Wish. Many interesting details about Wish were brought up during the meeting. Here's a brief glimpse at what the chat held (this is only a fraction of what was discussed, visit the link provided below for the complete chat transcript):

  •  Phase One of beta testing has just begun, 500 handpicked applicants were selected for the process.
  • Various changes are being made to the game client and graphic engine to provide a more stable gameplay experience. Bugs are being worked out and framerates are steadily improving for lower end machines.
  • Details about the skill system are touched upon in the developer's chat.
The 3D Sound engine is briefly mentioned, it appears that Wish will have quite a rich sound atmosphere with Michael Kimbell aiding the development team.
  • The learning curve of the game is discussed. Wish will be very "newbie friendly", offering a tutorial as well as other hints both in game. Higher level players will also be encouraged to aid lower level players via "game mechanisms" (expect to hear more about this latter!)

Again, these were only some of the things discussed in the developer's chat. Check out the link below to get the full chat transcript. The next developer's chat will be held on June 30th, stay tuned!
