Next Big Update, INVASION: Nexus coming to PTR Today - MMORPG.com

Today Carbine Studios is bringing their next major update titled "INVASION: Nexus" to the public test realms for WildStar.  It's live on the PTR now, and can be expected on the live realms in coming weeks.

INVASION: Nexus brings tons of new, community-feedback based content to the game. Contracts give players who are short on time a new way to earn awesome gear, while aesthetic-related improvements like the Holo-Wardrobe and brand-new vanity pets let players cruise Nexus in style. Also incoming is a swath of new content, like a 20-player raid, a new adventure and expanded PvP options!

The official blog post can be found HERE.

The update includes major overhauls to the wardrobe and customizing of your character, making it easier than ever before to switch outfits and keep track of your looks. In addition, the vain players out there will be pleased to see a bunch of new vanity pets added to the game as well.

But what about content? WildStar is also adding a new 20-man raid, a new adventure, and expanded PVP options as well.

Initialization Core Y-83 is the brand new raid which delves deeper into the Eldan facility responsible for the techno-phage virus that plagues the world of Nexus. Meanwhile Bay of Betrayal gives more casual players a brand new adventure to run, on a mission to infiltrate the Ascendency itself and take care of its leader. And finally, the expanded PVP options (no doubt due to the population imbalance) now allows players from either faction to take part in Battlegrounds against and with each other.

Lastly, level-capped folks will want to head back to Levian Bay currently held by the Dominion, as things have changed quite a bit since the early stages of the game. See the screen below...
