Warhammer: Inquisitor - Martyr has been updated with the 2.0 patch that brings a bunch of big features and overhauled mechanics into the game. Most notably, players will find improved combat, an increased level cap of 100, an expanded Relic Item system, new item tiers, crafting improvements, and much more.
Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor - Prophecy, the stand alone expansion to Inquisitor - Martyr was announced in early May for a May 28th release alongside the Patch 2.0 update. In a brief announcement earlier today, however, Neocore Games has revealed that Patch 2.0 will be delayed to June 20th and Inquisitor - Prophecy will be delayed until July 30th.
Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor - Martyr is expanding with Inquisitor - Prophecy, but as a standalone expansion. Inquisitor - Martyr will not be required to play, though "the story is designed to fit both for new and returning players". Inquisitor - Prophecy features the new Tech-Adept Inquisitor class, a brand new campaign that continues the story of Inquisitor - Martyr as players travel through new environment to face off against the Eldar and Tyranids.
Neocore Games has revealed the first information about what players can expect with the 2.0 update to Warhammer: Inquisitor Martyr when it launches for all platforms on May 28th. The update will be free and is based on player feedback and extensive testing. Developers say that 2.0 addresses and changes core features of the game including the progression system, itemization, loot and combat. Players will also find new end game modes, new items, coop campaign mode and a new level cap.

Warhammer 440K: Inquisitor Martyr has been updated with the new Warzone mode that sends inquisitors to the Caligari Sector to fight endless waves of enemies in order to stop Chaos from spreading. The new content is designed for endgame players and it rewards "the most powerful items, armors and weapons" for those who can find them where hidden throughout the zone.
Neocore Games has announced that Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor - Martyr is being delayed by several weeks and that it will now be released on June 5th. The company cited the need for more development time to "offer players the most seamless gaming experience possible".
The Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor - Martyr site has been updated with a new post from the development team to let the community know that there will be no further Steam updates to the game prior to its launch on May 11th. That said, the letter also details a number of big features that are being prepared for launch, several of which are already "at a high state of completion internally and these features are undergoing testing as we speak".
