Warframe Dev Stream 139 Details Operation Scarlet And Deadlock Protocol

Also breaks down changes coming in new forum post

By Joseph Bradford on February 28, 2020 | News | 0

Warframe keeps the hits coming, with updates and announcements deatailed in their latest Devstream #139 earlier today. On stream, the team talked about its upcoming Operation Scarlet Spear coming this March to Warframe.

In addition to Scarlet Spear, players can check out The Dreadlock Protocol coming to Warframe in April. Many changes and updates were also detailed on the stream, such as increasing the maximum rank of Warframe and Operator Arcanes from 3 to 5, with Revivies now being a bonus that begins at Rank 3. Additionally, the team is making some changes to Railjacks, specifically due to the barrier of entry being too high. Via a forum post:

Upon Review, stats show truly the only people that saw Rising Tide to completion were our veterans, which was originally our intent to design content for veteran players. However, to sustain the cost of future development and events like Scarlet Spear, accessibility is key and we have to adjust the barriers to entry for Railjack. For those who were early adopters, 2x Rush Repair Drones will be given out. Anyone with the Rising Tide Quest active will receive 1x Rush Repair Drone. For those unfamiliar with Rush Repair Drones: these items can only be acquired via rare drop in the Veil Proxima, as they allow you to instantly complete a given Armament or Component.

You can check out all of the notes from Warframe's Devstream, as well as check out the archive embeded below.
