The latest tweet on the official Valorant twitter account has provided details, including an announcement video, of their new character, Skye. Skye will provide much needed support to her allies, and looks to be a welcome addition.
The tactical shooter Valorant by Riot Games has been quite popular, with new characters hitting the scene in regular intervals. The latest tweet identifies Skye as a healer with the power of nature, who can heal her allies, but still put the hurt on her enemies.

October 27th is when you will finally get to play Skye, but that’s not the only thing coming on the 27th, there are a number of competitive changes headed to the game in the same update, so definitely check those out while you wait for Act III!
