Ubisoft’s seafaring title Skull & Bones is gearing up for its second season and the studio will be offering players a free trial to entice players to dip their toes in the water and try the game out.
The free trial will be available from May 30 through June 6 and give players unlimited access to all of the game’s content on all of the platforms the game is available to play on. Season 2 will go live two days before the trial begins on May 28, so players joining the game for the first time will get to experience all of what it has to offer.
Speaking of what Season 2 has to offer, Ubisoft has also released patch notes for the upcoming season offering greater detail on what’s coming. Titled Season 2 Chorus of Havoc, players can look forward to new content featuring the deadly Hubac Twins, who are in command of the Chorus Fleet. The twins have been dispatched to the Indian Ocean to deal with the Helm and its pirate threat.
There’s tons more in the update, including a new fleet management feature, various quality-of-life improvements, and a number of different events for solo and PvE players.
