Throne And Liberty Is Launching Globally On PC And Consoles In 2023

NCSoft released a new director's cut look at its upcoming MMORPG, Throne and Liberty, this morning, revealing more about the game, as well as when players should be able to get their hands on it next year.

Coming in the first half of 2023 to both PC and Consoles globally, Throne and Liberty will feature a seamless open world, dungeons, and much more. The video breaks down some of the mechanics and features players can expect to see when Throne and Liberty launches next year.

The video, hosted by members of the NCSoft team, breaks shows off a bit of these designs, with dungeons that have multiple floors and change depending on the weather condition, as well as what producer Jongok Ahn describes as a "free class" system, where players roles are defined by their weapons, not a predefined class.

PDMO Moonyoung Choi also talked about the direction the studio is taking with the MMO, including its desire that Throne and Liberty be a global service from the get-go. Choi talks about the UI and UX design, stating that it will be good for both PC and console players, as well as teasing the idea of playing the MMORPG on mobile in the future as well.

You can check ou the full video in the embed above. 2023 looks good for NCSoft, as Throne and Liberty just might be the next big new MMO launch on the horizon.
