WB Games and Rocksteady have dropped the latest episode of Suicide Squad Insider, a video series aimed at giving players a deeper look at Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The series made its debut last November with a focus on the game’s core gameplay mechanics, narrative, and open world.
Episode 3, released this week, previews Rocksteady’s post-launch plans for the game. Suicide Squad’s post-launch content will thematically take advantage of alternate realities called Elseworlds to introduce new environments and characters from different versions of the DC universe. All content coming to the game post-launch will be free and not gated behind a battle pass, and that includes Season 1, which arrives in March and features the Clown Prince of Crime himself, the Joker.
Well, not the same Joker players are familiar with in the Arkhamverse games. He’s been dead for a number of years now. This is a different, Elseworld version of the Joker who hasn’t yet achieved supervillain status.
In Season 1, players will be able to play as the Joker and experience content in a new Joker themed environment. The content includes new episodes, missions, challenges, gear, challenges, and more.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League arrives on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on February 2.
