Baldur's Gate 3 has a release window after years of early access. Coming in August 2023, the full version of Baldur's Gate 3 will take players to some incredible places in the Forgoten Realms alongside some familiar faces from the series.
Announced tonight at The Game Awards, Larian has shown off some of the first glimpses of the eponymous city of Baldur's Gate, as well as returning characters Jaheira and Minsc from Baldur's Gate entries in the past.
Unfortunately, Boo, Minsc's hamster friend, has not been confirmed to be accompanying the party as they venture forth. Here's to hoping!
The trailer shows off some footage from the upcoming RPG, which has been in Early Access since October of 2020, though fans will have to wait until August of 2023 to explore the rest of the story. The third mainline entry into the incredibly popular series sees players attempt to free themselves from becoming a Mind Flayer thanks to an unfortunate encounter with one, meeting friends and uncovering adventures along the way.
Announced today is the Collector's Edtion, boasting a full Mind Flayer statue, art book, canvas map, and more. The Baldur's Gate 3 Collector's Edition will run $ 269.99 USD / 259.99 EUR and will be limited to 25K units worldwide.
