SWG Legends Sets Date For Its Long-Awaited Bespin Expansion, Coming May 4th

Star Wars Galaxies Legends has finally set the date players can take part in its Bespin expansion. Called City in the Clouds, SWG: Legends players will be able to visit it on a rather important date for Star Wars fans: May the Fourth.

The new expansion is complete with a new trailer, showing off Bespin's skyline and city streets. Players will encounter Lando Calrissian, and even Han and Chewie make an appearance in the SWG Legends trailer.

Via the YouTube video:

"SWG:Legends is proud to present Bespin: The City in the Clouds. Embark on an all new journey that takes you to some of the most iconic locations throughout Cloud City where you will encounter familiar faces, new enemies, new quests, and much more in this brand new unofficial expansion to the Star Wars Galaxies universe found exclusively on Legends."

Star Wars Galaxies Legends is launching the expansion pack on May 4th, 2021. The date has become a Star Wars holiday among fans, being dubbed Star Wars Day. Initially the team had targeted "early 2021" as the date, and while May the Fourth might be slipping towards mid-2021, the fact that the long-awaited update is coming on an important day on the fandom's calendar just feels right.

If you're looking for something to do in the meantime, you can check out the Creature Clash which is happening this weekend in SWG: Legends on Naboo. In the meantime, make sure to check out the Bespin trailer in the embed above.
