RuneScape's latest major content update, Abyssal Slayer Creatures, is now live. The MMORPG from Jagex brings new ways for players to train up their Slayer skill by taking on new Abyssal Slayer Creatures.
The update gives players a new way to skill up to level 120, as well as earn much more powerful rewards to explore Gielinor. The content itself is geared more towards towards higher-level players, those with a Slayer skill already high - starting around 95.
Via the press release from Jagex:
"Located in the depths of the city of Senntisten, a portal has been opened allowing demons to pass through. Players will need to battle through the slayer dungeon, Senntisten Asylum, and face three new high-level Slayer creature mobs; Abyssal Savage (95 Slayer), Abyssal Beast (105 Slayer), and Abyssal Lord (115 Slayer). The Slayer update marks the five-year anniversary since the concept of these three demons were shown to the players in 2017 and has been a heavily requested update among the RuneScape community."
The rewards themselves are quite good, though, with amour spikes being upgraded, as well as the brand-new Abyssal Scourge - an update to the Abyssal Whip itself.
