Rockstar is bringing its next update to Red Dead Online next week, when Blood Money makes its debut across PC, Xbox and PlayStation platforms. The new update brings more story to the online mode of Red Dead Redemption 2, as well as Nvidia's DLSS update to the PC version.
Red Dead Online: Blood Money sees players take part in a series of "daring robberies" as part of the update, teaming up with Guido Martelli to recover a "valuable commodity known as Capitale."

"There are whispers in the alleys of Lemoyne’s capital that Guido Martelli — right-hand man and underboss to the infamous Angelo Bronte — needs gunslingers of strong constitution. Martelli is seeking to recover a valuable commodity known as Capitale. Originally devised as a unique system of exchange for more sensitive business dealings away from the watchful eyes of the taxman, it's since ended up in the hands of nearly every lowlife across the five states. Now, Bronte and Martelli want it back — if you can find and return it, Martelli will reward you with access to more worthwhile criminal opportunities."
Blood Money will see players take part in missions for Martelli, including an entirely new mission type: Crimes. Crimes themselves can be varied, ranging from what Rockstar calls "cloack-and-dagger coach holdups to multi-stage robberies." These Crime gameplay modes can also include more nefarious deeds, like kidnapping and more.
"Embark on Crimes either as a lone gun or with a full Posse of cutthroats alongside you. During each outing, keep a keen wit and search high and low for signs of Capitale to return to Guido Martelli — including from hidden chests or on the remains of those who’ve crossed your path. As you traverse the plains in Free Roam, you may hear of unlocked Homesteads and vulnerable Camps, ripe for the picking and begging to be relieved of a Capitale stash."
Rockstar states that earning enough Capitale will unlock Opportunities as a way to help Martelli to silence a rising politician. The first three Opportunities will launch with Blood Money on July 13th, with two more coming post launch.
In addition to the new gameplay modes and story, Nvidia's DLSS is coming to PC with the Blood Money update. It should be noted that this does not mean that Red Dead Redemption 2 is getting ray tracing, but rather Nvidia GPU users can utilize DLSS to improve performance without needing to sacrifice visual quality as a whole.
