SEGA announced today that Phantasy Star Online 2 will be releasing new episodic content at the end of the month. Episode 5 will increase the player cap to 90, and add new missions, techniques and photon art levels and new areas to explore.
To celebrate the coming event, SEGA is hosting a “Road to Episode 5” event for players that log in between now and September 29th. Players will receive a chance at earning the following for logging in:
- 3,500,000 EXP
- Up to 300 SG
- Augment Transfer Pass
Episode 5 will bring a host of new content and increase the level cap, in addition to adding more story elements as players discover a new dimension “Omega”. Xbox Game Pass holders will receive a Lillipan Suit AND an Arkuma Suit for free, if they are current subscribers to the service. Currently in game, a Sakura Wars crossover event is taking place, and the collaborative pieces can be won through AC scratch tickets.
Phantasy Star Online 2 has been quite popular since its North American release. New content has been releasing at an accelerated rate, with Episode 4 releasing just last month, check out our previous post for more details.
