Deserts come in a variety of colors it would seem, as Black Desert developer Pearl Abyss has teased, with a very short video, a Crimson Desert release, that will be unveiled in earnest during The Game Awards this year.
According to the official site, Crimson Desert is an open world action-adventure game. It does not point to this being an MMO or having extenuating multiplayer options, so players should expect the possibility of a single player experience. Players will be tasked with adventuring in the lands of Pywel that has undoubtedly been plagued with plenty of hardships, monsters and wars. The game touts’ mythical beasts, maniacal rulers, dangerous mercenaries, and a vast continent to explore.
Little else has been teased at this time, but if we’ve learned anything from Pearl Abyss, it’s that they do love frequent updates, so get ready to tune in to The Game Awards December 10th at 3:30pm PT for the preshow.
