Niantic Reveals Ingress Prime

Niantic, the company behind the Pokemon Go juggernaut, will be updating Ingress, the game that laid the foundation for much of what we see in Pokemon Go today. In Ingress Prime, players will find an overhauled version of just about every aspect including art, design and narrative. In addition, a number of alterations are being made "under the hood".

First launched in 2012, Ingress puts players in one of two factions and it uses AR technology and location-based elements for game play.
