Hood: Outlaws & Legends is realeasing in a week, and the team at Sumo Digital is showing off the PvPvE experience once again, this time with an 8-minute long, in-depth gameplay video focusing on team play. And of course, with developer commentary breaking down all of the details.

Coming on May 7th on PC, Xbox and PlayStation platforms, Hood: Outlaws & Legends sees teams embarking on a great heist, contending with infiltrating a stronghold to rob the place. Along the way they will need to deal with NPC enemies as well as an enemy team of players who have the same goal.

The Sumo Digital team has broken down the different classes you can play and their roles in the party, however this most recent video showcasing gameplay as well as customized character builds. This includes a look at some of the perks on the Ranger class, such as its Melee focused  perk that can help the nromally ranged charcter survive better in brawls.

The video also showcases how team roles can play a part in defending a point or providing cover for your team, such as the Brawler going rogue and keeping part of the enemy team busy while their teammates make it out with the chest. The Mystic was also showcased showing off some of its ability to slink into the keep undetected thanks to a fast movement perk being used by the player.

Finally, Sumo showed off Hood's Hunter, which is normally a stealth and recon class playing a more defensive role. The video shows the Hunter keeping an enemy's spawn point, keeping them busy while the rest of the players on their team hunt for the chest.
