Today, The Pokemon Company announced a partnership with Tencent Games' TiMi Studios in developing a brand new Pokemon game called Pokemon UNITE.
Pokemon UNITE is a strategic team battle game featuring 5-on-5 battles between players. It is being developed for both the Nintendo Switch and mobile devices, and will feature cross-platform play. The announcement video, which you can watch above, shows gameplay that looks very similar to a MOBA, like DotA 2 or League of Legends.
