According to YouTuber Thomas Soren, a new crafting functionality has been added to Black Desert Online that allows players to finish crafting projects with a single click of a button. The catch is that it costs Pearls, the game's cash currency.
Soren details some of the major issues with this sort of functionality including the ability to spend real world cash to raise crafting and be able to make hundreds of millions of silver with little or no real effort. Artisan workers can also be raised with a single click for Pearls.
The caveat to all of this is that crafting items can still fail regardless of the amount of Pearls spent.
It's a fascinating look at what is sure to be a controversial addition to Black Desert Online.
