Morrowind's Battlegrounds - Sponsored

If you’ve been following ESO for a while, you’ll know that PVP is a core component of the game, but until now it’s been entirely contained within the open-world region of Cyrodiil. That changes with today’s official launch of ESO’s first chapter – Morrowind. One of the big new features of the game is 4v4v4 Battlegrounds.

In Battlegrounds, you're not fighting for Queen Ayrenn, High King Emeric, or Jorunn the Skald-King, but for the Pit Daemons (Green), Fire Drakes (Orange), or Storm Lords (Purple). These teams, believe it or not, are actually tied to the lore of The Elder Scrolls: Arena, one of the series earliest games. Battlegrounds are purely about stomping the other team into the ground, not some mythical fight for relics of power. They’re the sports of Morrowind, as it were.
