In the Square Enix Presents Spring Presentation today, the next expansion for Marvel’s Avengers was announced, featuring Black Panther, in War for Wakanda.
Not much information was shown specifically detailing the features that will go along with the new expansion. The trailer depicts the vibrant landscape of Wakanda, and only briefly teases Black Panther. The news of the new character reveal wasn’t an unexpected occurrence, and leaks of Black Panther heading to the game have long been making the rounds online. Lately the game has come under fire for lack of communication, but the reveal today will go a long way to keeping players on the hook just a while longer.
This reveal comes on the heels of the latest release for Marvel’s Avengers, Hawkeye, and the Future Imperfect operation. Today, March 18th, marks the release date for Future Imperfect, the Story Replay, customizable Harm Rooms, and the Next Gen version release that was teased way back before the game first released. War for Wakanda is set to hit sometime later this year.
