Marvel Rivals Debuts Launch Trailer Ahead Of This Week's Release, Highlights New Heroes Leading Up To Launch

Marvel Rivals is finally launching on digital platforms this week, bringing fans a hero shooter inspired by the Marvel universe to PC and consoles on the 6th. To kick things off, NetEase has dropped the launch trailer and is teasing five upcoming hero reveals ahead of the big release.

The trailer, which features music from Chrissy Costanza signing the Rivals theme song, Rivals 'Til the End, highlights the giant roster NetEase and Marvel are bringing to this release, as well as showcasing some of the locations the fight will be taken to. Rivals is also getting a full soundtrack, which will release across streaming platforms on the 6th, as well as a limited vinyl release.

Marvel Rivals' roster is already huge, and it's getting bigger ahead of launch, with the team unveiling five new heroes ahead of this week's release. In all, 33 heroes will be available on the starting roster, each one of them available in the free-to-play shooter to everyone. This week saw Squirrel Girl, Black Widow, Cloak & Dagger, Iron Fist, and Wolverine join the ranks, and it stands to reason that even more heroes and villains from the Marvel universe will be added over time.
