Armed with a new gameplay trailer, Perfect World and Cryptic Studios announced today that their upcoming open beta for Magic: Legends will be coming to the Epic Games Store next month with an exclusive Epic Planeswalker Starter pack.
While we knew the date the open beta on PC was set to begin with last month's announcement, it was revealed today during the Epic Games Showcase that the upcoming ARPG set in the Magic: The Gathering multiverse would launch on the EGS with an exclusive Epic Planeswalker Starter pack.
The new trailer showcases more gameplay from the ARPG, including spell upgrades and more. For those playing on the Epic Games Store, you'll be able to grab the Epic Planeswalker Starter pack for free through April 6th, which includes a summon, costume and boots to help your Planeswalker on their journey. This pack is different than the Planeswalker Bundle unveiled last week, which includes premium content centered on one Walker of a specific Mana base.
You can check out the trailer in the embed above. Also, if you were wondering about Magic: Legends' place in the multiverse, the team at Cryptic talked a bit about the lore surrounding the ARPG, which we covered previously.
