Today Guild Wars 2 has released a video, along with the release date of their final arc for the Icebrood Saga. As the battle with Jormag wanes, the elder dragon Primordus’s influence rises and the new update will introduce players to new masteries, challenges and factions.
The long, frigid roads of the Icebrood Saga are finally coming to an end, over the course of several months as their roadmap suggests, starting with Truce, the first of four chapters. New replayable Dragon Response Missions will be a way for players to continuously battle Primordus, and prevent further destruction to Tyria from those pesky Elder Dragons.
As usual, these living world chapters will be free to all players that are able to log in upon their release, so players should make sure they’re at least paying attention to the release schedule so they don’t miss out on unlocking the content. While the steam release has been delayed, player's who may not have logged in for a while can pop on GeForce Now to get in the game with little hard drive space or download time required.
