Genshin Impact has released an in depth trailer depicting what players should get hyped for in the new 3.0 update that is set to release later this month. Along with two new characters, Tighnari and Dori the trailer depicts new enemies, the new region and much more.
Traveler, it’s time to head to Sumeru and learn about the secrets within. If you’ve been out of the loop the next region for Genshin Impact is set to release on August 24th, with additional updates expected to release later this year. Below is a snapshot of the update schedule as it stands right noew.

- Update 3.3: December 7th, 2022
Update 3.0 will bring a new element, Dendro, which is a plant-based element, and several new characters. You can expect two new Dendro characters to become available right out of the gate, with Collei and Tighnari, both bow-wielding Dendro characters, and an electro claymore user called Dori. The latest trailers released by miHoYO have also teased plenty of other characters including another Dendro user, Al Haitham, who is suspected of being a DPS character.
New weapons and artifacts will also be available, including a Dendro artifact set that increases Dendro damage and reduces Dendro resistance. Alongside the trailer, a new promotional page detailing a lot of the new features became available for those that want more specifics on each of the new weapons, artifacts, and characters. There is a wealth of information related to a new event, Graven Innocence, which will reward players with a free Collei. In order to take part, players will have to be Adventure Rank 28 and make their way to Sumeru, and complete the tutorial quest. Graven Innocence will have players take part in several tasks, including races, photo taking, elemental triggers, and defeating certain monsters.
