Fractured MMO Pre-Alpha Gameplay Features 'Hike & Slash' Action

The Fractured team has sent out a full 15-minutes of pre-alpha gameplay that showcases both the exploration ("hike") and combat ("slash") that players can expect when venturing through the game world. The video features a look at a 1km x 1km procedurally generated map complete with a look at some of the environmental design and ARPG combat.

Commentary to the video by Dynamight CEO Jacopo Gallelli provides insights on different core features such as character and world building, plus technical details like procedural map generation and the inner workings of the SpatialOS engine. 

In addition to the video, the team has revealed that it will be starting a KickStarter campaign in June. Developers are hoping to raise $250,000 to bolster the $100,000 private investments already secured in March.
