This is the third year since For Honor was released. 2019 is the Year of the Harbinger that will be divided into four seasons. Devs have a ton of new content planned including new Samurai, Viking, Knight and Wu Lin heroes that will be released with each new season. In addition, players can look forward to seasonal events, new effects and other customization options, new maps and balance tweaks throughout the year.
The team has said that the Year of the Harbinger will be different, not just in set up, but in tone. Players can expect to find a "darker" theme throughout.
