Patch 6.1 is finally coming to Final Fantasy 14 this month, with the new adventure titled Newfound Adventure. The upcoming patch continues the story from the main scenario in Endwalker and will hit servers on April 12th.
Newfound Adventure continues the story of the Scions of the Seven after the culmination of the previous story arc. This new patch sees the Scions seeking a new adventure, though what that adventure will be is unknown. With the Endwalker story venturing into a world without the Hydealyn and Zodiark story arc, it'll be interesting to see precisely where Square Enix takes us next.
We know one place will be a new Trial, The Minstrel's Ballad: Endsinger's Aria. Additionally, the first part of the Alliance Raid, Myths of the Realm, Part 1: Aglaia, will be available as part of Patch 6.1. PvP players will also see a new "array of arenas" designed to force players to think strategically during their goal to PK the other team.
Path 6.1 will also see a new residential district open up, the Empyreum. Newfound Adventure will come with new NG+ chapters, tweaks to job balance, improvements to the 2.0 arc of MSQ, and more.
