ESO Adds 3 Million As Gamigo's RIFT Deepens - MMORPG's Quick 5

If you've got 5...or so...minutes, we've got 5...or so...stories of MMO and RPG news for you.

This week saw Guild Wars 2's next installment in their Icebrood Saga, "Balance" go live in the MMO, and we had a chance to check it out. Read what Robin thought about the new content

If you've been itching for Patch 9.0.5 for World of Warcraft, this week was good for you too, as the patch added Valor to Mythic Keystone dungeons. Additionally, if you're waiting for The Burning Crusade Classic beta, it might be coming sooner than you think.

The Elder Scrolls Online also announced this week that they added 3 million new users in 2020 alone, with lifetime accounts totaling over 8 million. Additionally, some big news came from Stormhaven's Saga of Lucimia, with Tim Anderson no longer being involved in the MMORPG's development.

Finally, Gamigo had a week with speculation about RIFT's future thanks to reports that the MMO's developers saw widepsread layoffs. Gamigo refuted the reports and attempted to clarify the future status of the MMORPG in subsequent statements.
