Zenimax Online Studios just shared an all-new trailer for Blackwood, their upcoming chapter in Elder Scrolls Online.
This trailer focuses on companions. The team has been ramping up the marketing surrounding companions in ESO’s Blackwood chapter. That’s because this is the first time we’ll be able to play with companions at our side.
Once Blackwood launches this June, we’ll be able to select from two companions. Bastian Hallix is a battlemage from Daggerfall who’s strong in a fight but is quick to trust others. Meanwhile, Mirri Elendis is the other companion from Mournhould.
You’ll be able to kit out your companion and customize their skills and rotation. You’ll also be able to build a rapport with them, which appears to be a key feature in the Companions system. And if you have the PTS installed, you can actually check out Blackwood right now since the chapter is available on the test environment. Blackwood is expected to feature some pretty diverse environments as well, which should provide some variety to our adventure when Blackwood launches on PC, Mac, Stadia, and consoles this June.
