If you love turn-based RPG’s then one of the highlights of the PC Gaming Show during E3 has got to be Wartales. The new open-world RPG will put you in charge of a group of mercenaries as you travel a medieval world, recruiting companions and uncovering secrets.
Wartales will be available on Steam later this year, though an exact release date has not been given at this time. Shiro Games, the development team behind Wartales is well known for the popular series Northgard, and Evoland. Players will be tasked to specialize their companions as they recruit them, ensuring that they are equipped with the best gear, skill sets, and weaponry to ensure victory in a brutal and unforgiving world.
Collect bounties on criminals and accept contracts that cover a range of different tasks. You’ll be able to gather materials and craft items as you level your characters, with an engaging RPG progression system. Along the way, you’ll be able to build a camp. The nicer your camp, the higher your group’s morale will be, and the more effective they’ll ultimately become.
