Elden Ring actually exists and it's coming next year as was revealed today during Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest. Players can dive into the the world created by From Software and Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin on January 21st, 2022.
Elden Ring was shown off today in a new gameplay trailer, showing the world, some of the mechanics and more in the premiere. The game coming to PlayStation, Xbox and PC, was first shown way back during Microsoft's Xbox Press Conference at E3 2019, though little has been seen of it since.

Elden Ring is a collaboration between From Software's Hidetaka Miyazaki and the creator of the A Song of Ice and Fire series George R. R. Martin, and since the reveal in 2019 no real news has been forthcoming from Bandai Namco or From Software. Until now.
