Daybreak's Cold Iron Studios revealed their upcoming co-op shooter, Aliens: Fireteam. The game, being made in collaboration with 20th Century Games, is a third person co-op survival shooter set in the Aliens universe.
Aliens: Fireteam is set 23 years after the original movie trilogy, and sees players take on the role of a Colonial Marine. Your team is tasked with answering distress calls from the outer colonies. Fireteam will see players explore "overrun facilities, abandoned ruins and strange alien landscapes." The shooter is a cover-based shooter with players using "powerful weapons" and "futuristic equipment" to achieve their goal.
The game puts you and two other friends (or AI companions) against over 20 different enemy types, from the iconic Aliens Xenomorph to Weyland-Yutani Synthetics.
Aliens: Fireteam will launch this summer for the Xbox Series consoles, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and 5, as well as on PC via Steam. Check out the announce trailer in the embed above.
