Following up their recent Xbox One/Xbox Series X reveal, CDPR released a video showcasing Cyberpunk 2077 running on the PlayStation family of consoles.
The gameplay footage is just over 6 minutes long and showcases a variety of gameplay scenarios, from just driving through Night City, dialogue options with NPCs, some character creation and more. The gameplay is showcased originally on PS4 Pro, but transitions to PS5 footage about halfway through the video. It should be noted, however, that this is running on PS5 using the backwards compatibility and not without the expected next-gen upgrade patch, which is slated to release sometime early next year on both PS5 and Xbox Series X.
The footage is interesting, showcasing some of the banter between the protagonist, V, and a companion named Jackie as they enter Night City, only to find themselves eventually embroiled in a gun fight on the streets of the vibrant city.
Cyberpunk 2077 is slated to release on December 10th for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. If you're grabbing the release on PC, you might want to take a peak at the extensive system requirements the studio released last week.
