This week in the MMO and RPG world, we saw Cyberpunk 2077 get delayed again, much like Quantum Break years ago. Though not all is lost for November as World of Warcraft: Shadowlands has an official launch date. CDPR delayed Cyberpunk 2077 till December 10th, giving the team 3 more weeks to polish the current gen versions of the upcoming RPG. World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, however, has a new release date after its initial delay back in October, with the upcoming expansion hitting PCs on November 23rd.
We also dive into our Torchlight III review, where Robert really enjoyed the aesthetic of Torchlight III, the nonexistent power curve and lackluster item system undercut what the ARPG did well. Also, Chris Metzen of Blizzard fame has opened up his own tabletop company. named 'Warchief Gaming,' Metzen is going bringing the same zeal that he brough to Blizzard to a more "intimate" game development setting versus traditional game design. Finally, AMD gave gamers a glimpse of the AMD of old as they unveilved what looks like a competitive GPU lineup in Big Navi. The 6800, 6800 XT and 6900 XT were showcased by the technology company and are squarely aimed at Nvidia's 30 series Ampere GPUs.
