A new trailer for Solasta: Crown of the Magister’s dungeon maker tool has just released. If you’ve been itching to see how it looks in action, check out the full details below.
Solasta just recently release into Version 1.0 last week. We’ve got a review in progress available so be sure to check it out if you want to learn more about the game, or are interested in picking it up. The dungeon maker has been a tool which was first revealed some time ago, and we had the chance to check it out with the dev team. You can read our impressions here.
For example, the tool allows you to create each floor of the dungeon as a separate dungeon and then link them together using exits and entrances. One of the benefits of this system is you can feasibly have various “floors” be totally different to each other. Alternatively, you can create more traditional dungeons should you wish.
The dungeon maker released into Early Access on March 25 in a beta form. You can check out the news from that update here.
If you’re unfamiliar with Solasta: Crown of the Magister, it’s described as a Turn-Based Tactical RPG based on the SRD 5.1 Ruleset, developed and published by Tactical Adventures. You control four heroes, each with unique skills and abilities. If you’re into old school dungeons & dragons-style adventures, you might want to give Solasta a look.
