If you've got five minutes, we've got 5 (ish) stories that you might want to catch up on from the week that was in MMORPG's Quick 5.
This week saw the announcement of the next phase of the Pokemon game series, with Pokemon Legends: Arceus being revealed during yesterday's showcase. We also dove a bit more into last weekend's BlizzConline, sitting down with the developers of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands and The Burning Crusade Classic, as well as chatting with the Diablo IV team.
However, the big news of this past week was quite a few games saw their doom put upon them, as Anthem's 2.0 update was officially canceled, sending the game into effectively maintenance mode. Gamigo also canceled quite a few MMOs, with Twin Saga, Defiance and Defiance 2050 all sunsetting later this Spring.
This was also a big week for Black Desert Online as Pearl Abyss officially took the reigns of the MMO's publishing in the West.
