Netmarble's Blade & Soul Revolution is out now worldwide on iOS and Android, bringing the MMO IP to fans looking for an open world RPG and who have phones.
Blade & Soul Revolution is a mobile, open world RPG based on the PC MMORPG, with Netmarble touting its 3D graphics, built on Unreal Engine 4. Set in the same world as the PC version, B&S Revolution says it offers a "streamlined experience" compared to the MMO.
Players new to the Blade & Soul IP can look forward to an updated and streamlined experience in Blade & Soul Revolution, as in-game enhancements to the in-game hunting mechanics, player balance, and the pace of a player’s growth have been made to better suit the sensibilities of Western players. The game offers unique features such as Windwalk and other martial arts actions that no other game provides.
Blade & Soul Revolution features five professions: Blade Master, Destroyer, Kung Fu Master, Force Master and Summoner. To celebrate the mobile RPG's launch, Netmarble is also hosting an event with gaming personalities such as voice actor ProZD and MMO YouTuber The LazyPeon, called the Blade & Soul Revolution Showdown. This even will take place on March 5th (so tomorrow) at 6pm PT/9pm ET on YouTube and Twitch.
Blade & Soul is available for free (though will include microtransactions) on iOS and Android in over 100 countries worldwide.
In other Blade & Soul news, it looks like the Unreal Engine 4 upgrade for the PC MMO is finally coming this summer. Along with the UE4 upgrade, B&S fans can look forward to more about an upcoming character class and more to be announced this June.
